MEET THE PROVIDER
Lilian Onwuka DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN, MSN
Lilian Onwuka is a DNP (Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child and adult inpatient care to community mental health crisis stabilization and substance abuse treatment. Lilian obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado. After graduation, she worked in various fields in nursing but eventually found her niche working for an inpatient psychiatric hospital. While working with inpatients, Lilian saw the need for mental health, especially with the recent pandemic. So, she decided to further her career by attending the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where she earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree. Lilian is the proud mother of three sons. She loves spending time with friends and family when she is not working. She also enjoys cooking, dancing, and traveling.
